About RyzeFit
What exactly is RyzeFit?
RyzeFit is an adaptive fitness Android mobile app. It automatically calibrates your loads, adjusts your programs session after session based on your performance, and explains every choice so you understand what you're doing and why. The promise: you focus on the effort, the app handles the rest.
Who is RyzeFit for?
For everyone aged 16 and up who trains with weights, at home or at the gym, from beginner to advanced. RyzeFit's promise — cutting the mental load tied to planning — is universal: it speaks to young people starting out, busy adults, and older lifters maintaining or coming back. The app is also a useful tool for coaches (see the dedicated question below).
When will the app be available?
RyzeFit is available right now on Google Play, free to download. An iOS version is planned after the initial Android launch.
Is RyzeFit free?
Yes. RyzeFit offers a complete free version with automatic load calibration, adaptive programs and contextual explanations. A subscription-based premium version adds advanced features (Custom Builder mode for expert users, extended guidance). Pricing details will be available at launch inside the app via Google Play Billing.
Method and calibration
Why doesn't RyzeFit ask for my 1RM?
The 1RM (max load for a single rep) is unstable from one day to the next, unreliable for most lifters who have never done the test, and inapplicable to isolation exercises, which make up 60 to 70% of a typical weekly volume. RyzeFit calibrates directly on the real effort observed session after session, rather than on a theoretical number entered once and for all.
What exactly is RIR?
RIR (Reps In Reserve) is the number of reps you could still do at the end of a set, before technical failure. It's a simple, scientifically validated effort scale, more practical than RPE for strength training. See our full guide to RIR for practical use and scientific sources.
How long before the loads are well calibrated?
Count on 4 to 6 sessions per exercise for the calibration to be stable. The first weeks are a learning phase: the app observes your performance and adjusts cautiously. Beyond that, load adjustments become automatic and reliable.
Can the app lower the load automatically?
Yes, and it's intentional. If your performance indicates the load is too high (unfinished sets, RIR consistently at 0, technique breaking down), the app steps back down to resume a clean upward trajectory. A program stuck on too high a load progresses more slowly than one that readjusts.
For coaches and their clients
Does RyzeFit work for coaches?
Yes. RyzeFit can be used as a programming tool by a coach for their clients: the coach configures the program, the client runs it through the app, and the performance (loads, reps, progression, RIR) is recorded automatically. The client can share their monthly summary with their coach for adjustment. For the coach, it's a time saver and a clear tracking framework, without having to manually recompile training sheets.
Does the app replace a human coach?
No, and that's not the promise. A human coach sees your technique in real time, reads your form, understands your life context. The app handles the decision friction (which load, how many sets, how to adjust) that adds nothing for a coach but consumes the solo lifter's time and attention. Coach + RyzeFit = a relevant combination, not a substitution.
Features
How many exercises are available?
RyzeFit offers a library of 187 exercises covering 13 muscle groups (chest, back, shoulders, biceps, triceps, forearms, abs, quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves, hips, neck). Each exercise is tagged by level (standard, advanced, expert).
Does RyzeFit handle supersets?
Yes, natively, with two variants: Guided (the app suggests exercise pairs according to the product doctrine) and External (you declare your own supersets). Data linking is automatic so your progression is tracked correctly.
Is there cardio tracking?
Yes. RyzeFit includes a cardio tracker with an interval timer, full-session tracking, and integration into the same progression database as strength training. There's no notion of load for cardio, but a focus on consistency and perceived intensity.
Can I create my own program?
Yes, via the Custom Builder available in Premium mode. This mode is for experienced users who know what they're doing and want to organize their own sessions. Automatic load calibration stays active on top.
Are my personal records saved?
Yes, automatically. RyzeFit detects your PRs (personal records) at every session — on loads, volume, max reps. You can view the full history and export this data.
Compatibility
Is RyzeFit available on iPhone?
Not yet. The initial launch is on the Google Play Store for Android. An iOS version will follow after the initial Android launch. The Android app is available now on Google Play.
Does RyzeFit sync with Apple Watch, Google Fit, Garmin?
No, and it's deliberate. RyzeFit doesn't sync with wearables (Apple Health, Google Fit, HRV, sleep). The reasoning: this data doesn't faithfully reflect strength-training effort, and integrating it would add complexity with no product value. If wearable sync is essential for you, RyzeFit isn't the right tool.
Which Android version is required?
Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher. Most recent devices (post-2018) are compatible.
Does the app work offline?
Yes, for the most part. RyzeFit stores your data locally and syncs with its backend when the network is available. You can complete a full session without a connection; syncing happens automatically later.
Account and data
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account in seconds from the app: Settings → My account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Full details on the Delete my account page.
Is my data sold to third parties?
No, never. RyzeFit doesn't sell your data and doesn't run ads. The business model relies on the Premium subscription, not on monetizing your data. Details in our Privacy policy.
